Since 1982 over 35 years ago, Buie Porter Munson & Siller, LLC (DBA Buie, Porter, Munson & Siller Enterprise or BPM&SE) has provided income tax services, capacity building, bookkeeping and technical skills support to small local businesses throughout the Bay Area.

BPM&SE was founded by Alpha Buie, a 35+ year Professional Tax Preparer, Business Financing Specialist, Small Business Expert, former Probation Officer with the City and County of San Francisco Adult Probation Department and longstanding Bayview Hunters Point Community Outreach Activist.

Several years later we saw the need to assist those businesses in identifying a broader range of opportunities to expand their business; and through that we decided to expand the scope of our services.  BPM&SE has established relationships with prime contractors, small businesses, community-based organizations and leading governmental agencies as well as proudly served more than 150 small businesses in San Francisco, Alameda, Santa Clara, Contra Costa and Marin counties.

BPM&SE is located in the Bayview Hunters Point Community of the City and County of San Francisco and has maintained a full-service office for more than 10 years at the same location: 1321 Evans Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94124. The firm is a women and minority owned business and was recently certified as a Micro-LBE Business with the city of San Francisco’s Contract Monitoring Division (CMD).  This expertise is directly in the areas of supporting small businesses with acquiring and executing government construction contracts.

Our services now include advocacy for our clients in dispute resolution situations utilizing the skills of a certified mediation specialist, to ensure that small businesses and minority contractors have the same opportunities to compete for procurement opportunities with major contractors.
